Dr. Terrance J. Hadlington, leader of a junior research group at the chair for inorganic chemistry with focus on novel materials (Prof. Fässler), is awarded the 2023 ADUC Prize, from the ADUC division of the GDCh. The award ceremony was held at the Chemiedozententagung 2023, on 13th March, in Dresden. The prize is awarded for establishing an independent research field, specifically the Single-Centre Ambiphile ligand concept, a class of non-innocent ligands which allow for cooperative bond activation and catalysis, and is endowed with 5000 euros.
