Stephan Sieber receives Merck Future Insight Prize 2020

For his research in the field of bioorganic chemistry Prof. Stephan Sieber was honored with the 2020 Future Insight prize sponsored by Merck. Combining synthetic organic chemistry, mass spectrometry based proteomics and cell biology his approach enables the discovery of new antimicrobial substances to overcome the impending bacterial resistance crisis.
