Research topic: Metal-Organic frameworks (MOFs) as materials for non-linear optical properties
The work focuses on the synthesis of photoactive MOFs bearing tetraphenylethylene (TPE) based linker motifs as well as different metals or metal-oxo clusters. The received compounds shall be examined for non-linear optical phenomena like nonlinear absorption or stimulated emission using pulsed femtosecond laser techniques.
